I am running Mandrake 8.0 Linux, with Xfree 4.1 and KDE 2.2.

I have been trying to get up on the "New_Age"jukebox at Yahoo, via a
bookmark. With Netscape 4.77 and 6.1 had no problem loading the file. I
downloaded JRE 1.3.1, made the patch, and the system shows that I am
running Java 1.3.1 and the symbolic link appears in the Mozilla plugin
folder. However, when I try to play something from Yahoo, I am told that I
need the Java plugin, which I tried, and had it error out on installation -
twice, to download before I went to BlackDown and successfully downloaded.
In addition when I try to log on to any other of their jukeboxes, a helper
screen comes up and tells me that RealPlayer is not loaded. What gives?

Also Realplayer 8 for linux, will play, but has trouble getting started,
sometimes have to kill it and restart. Once it is up and running, it works
fine - on any site except Yahoo that is.

Thanks

Deb
