What I do on Windows with talkback zips is:

1. Shut down Mozilla.
2. Rename the folder in c:\progra~1\mozilla.org from "Mozilla" to
"Mozilla 20011010803" or whatever the build-ID is.
3. Unzip the newly-downloaded talkback zip to c:\progra~1\mozilla.org .
4. Rename the folder from "bin" to "Mozilla".
5. Copy (not move) my plugins from the previous edition's plugins folder to
the new one (except npnul.dll, which is in each build).

This way, all my shortcuts still work (because they point to whatever is
at c:\progra~1\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe).

I keep previous builds around for a while in case testing throws up a
regression - makes it easy to check which builds it works on and doesn't.
