In just tried this, and it has a very undesirable side-effect: on Linux, middle-click pastes (and in Moz, that normally means load the page in the clipboard). Middle-click on a tab does close the tab, but it also loads whatever is in the clipboard into the newly focused tab. I got transported to a "Bad Gateway" message since "http://on/"; wasn't found :(. Suggest you back that particular code out before more Linux people start yelling at you. jg
