Try the following two prefs as well

// More important, disable JS windows popping up a new window on load
// (as lots of porn and spam sites do):
user_pref("dom.disable_open_during_load", true);

// Override popping up new windows on target=anything
user_pref("browser.target_new_blocked", true);
