Don't bother: Use the Proxomitron (http://proxomitron.org/). Blocks *every* kind of crappy ad that comes your way (banners, popups, whatever), and only extremely rarely will block something you actually want to see (and in that case, a simple right-click bypasses it). Best of all it will work with any browser.
