Yep...that was the prob. I didn't install the security manager under linux.
You might want to try Proxomitron ( http://proxomitron.org/ ) as a
replacement for web washer. It allows me to go to hotmail, yahoo etc, but
removes all the ads - you can aslo "extend" it to filter out stuff that you
specify..................
