I had the same problem you described when I installed 6.2, even after
changing the line manually in all-ns.js (located in the Netscape 6
folder). I finally got rid of the Net2Phone button on the Personal
Toolbar by checking it in Preferences, pressing 'OK', then returning to
Preferences and UNchecking it, again choosing 'OK' after each time. Then
I closed Netscape and verified the all-ns.js file to be sure the line
referring to N2P read:

pref("browser.toolbars.showbutton.net2phone", false);

Thereafter, the buttons I no longer wanted to look at were gone. Keep in
mind that regardless of whether or not Net2Phone is actually installed,
Netscape 6.2 will *always* put the N2P button on the Toolbar, and an
entry under Tasks > Net2Phone. This doesn't mean N2P is installed, it's
just a link to a web site if N2P is not installed.

The file that stores your user logins and passwords is located in the
Mozilla folder under your Windows directory and will end with the file
extension ".s". You should also backup all .txt and .rdf files here, as
well as bookmarks.html. Then you can wipe out the folder.

Good Luck!
Zack
