I use yahoo.com as my mail server. The incoming mail server I have defined to be a piop-3 server, pop.mail.yahoo.com. SSL, on both incoming and outgoing mail servers is turned off. I receive mail without any problems.
I have the outgoing mail server assigned to smtp.mail.yahoo.com, no SSL. When I attempt to send mail, I see the "connecting to server" window for as long as I want to watch it. there is no connection made. Nothing happens until I cancel the request. I guess half a mail system is better than none, but it would be very nice if I could reply as well. My experience with Mozilla until this morning has ben zero and I still do not know very much about it, but what I have been able to get to work, works remarkably well. Hopefully, this is something trivial that a few hundred of you will say, "oh yeah, that silly little problem." Thanks for your help.
