I'm not sure what happend to the old icons, but no doubt there's a bug filed on this. All you need is two developers willing to review and one of them to check it in. This could take about, 10 minutes? There's likely to be some other reason why no mozilla developers seem willing to change the icons. Otherwise it'd have been done years ago. BTW, why not use mozilla.org's favicon? Seems like a rather obvious solution *if* the lack of a good icon is the problem. - yatsu
