I've never seen anyone use backspace to go back one page, backspace means delete so it doesn't have any sense that shortcut. If this shortcut is mean to please IE users, then the first step is to remove the XUL and put back an UI with native widgets so they really find everything where they expect to be. Then change Ctrl+click to Shift+click (I think that many more people are disturbed by this shortcut that the backspace one), add ActiveX support and finally the MS Virus Transmision Protocol (R)
