Thanks Dennis - I tried your suggestion, works like a charm now. Haven't gone to games yet but Yahoo Chat is working splendidly now. I'm just confused by one thing though: I already had Java 1.3.1 installed in plug-ins, it showed in my list of plug-ins as installed, the files I copied and pasted prompted a 'files already exist, do you want to replace them?' message (or something to that effect) so I clicked yes and now it works, but the files were already there - should have worked before I would have thought??? **sigh** anyways ... it works now, thanks for the tip. ;-) (running WinMe as well)
