 I find Mozilla is only Partially so on at least Mac platform. Images
blink on and off (That have layer tags). and do even when images are
encased in Java

layers don't work and as said previously in previous threads never, ever
will. So that's a moot point and no need for additional discussion.

In newsgroup posts using Sounds quicktime still does not function
correctly.  (There are no plugins with Mozilla Plugins folder other than
default and the Java plugin. Happens if console for quicktime pops up
there is a Black window shows up with code runing instead of hearing the sound.
