Mike, To get favicons to consistently show up in my sites, I put the following line of HTML code in the <HEAD> of each page: <link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" href="http://www.yoursite.com/favicon.ico";> Of course, change href="" to reflect your domain and icon name, and make sure your icon is 16x16 pixels and in proper *.ico format (see www.favicon.com for some info).
