Yes, each interface that is used by a component must have an associated 
.xpt file. (afaik).

Yes, use xpt_dump.exe. In a MS-DOS Prompt, type this (in the Mozilla 
directory):
xpt_dump components\nppl3260.xpt

(you can add a -v for verbose output)

Could you post the output of that command here? I'm interested in it.
