You have a corrupted build or are using a migrated profile that has some 
settings that are messing up your build.

See the other reply, but basically you are using propriatary NS4 and IE 
features.  There is a written spec of DOM and Javascript at 
http://www.w3c.org , read that and re-write your scripts.  If they don't 
work in a certain browser, tell the people that complain "Sorry, this 
page is 100% standards complient, if it doesn't work in your browser 
then find a better browser."
