Have been running NS 6.2.1 and Mozilla 0.9.7 & 0.9.8
on a Win 98 system since December with no problems. Also have MS
IE 6.0 and NS 4.79 running with no challenge. Yesterday NS 6 &
Mozilla quite responding on startup. Happened out of the clear blue.
Only thing done between time when NS & Mozilla ran and when they didn't
is that I downloaded and installed the latest security patch for IE 6.0
from Microsoft dated about 2/15/02. The patch installed and system
rebooted just fine. About 2 hours later I loaded Mozilla Mail and
it froze.
I've rebooted, scanned the registry, uninstalled IE 6.0,
NS 6.2 and Mozilla. Reinstalled Mozilla and it didn't run.
Uninstalled Mozilla and installed NS 6.2 and it didn't run.
Have all email since December in folders under NS/Mozilla
and can't access them. Still sitting with IE 5.5 (version on system
before 6.0) and NS 4.79. Those are working fine.
Any clues to what would be causing NS 6.2 and Mozilla
to not load?
