"desktop" as the key didn't find any matches in bugzilla), and when reading top-down on http://www.mozilla.org/community.html there aren't any mentioning of a questions group so I'm asking the question here: Why is it that some URLs refuse to be dragged to the desktop? Sometimes when I try to drag an URL from the URL-stringgadget I just get two error popup. Sometimes it works, but Mozilla always allows me to drag the URL to the desktop so there shouldn't be anything wrong with the ones not working - otherwise Mozilla wouldn't mark the D&D as dropable on the desktop, yes?
This is using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204 and Windows 2000SP1. Under Linux I haven't noticed this but there I don't have to quit Mozilla - if only the Windows Zilla would save the opened windows (like Opera), I wouldn't had noticed this under Windows either, but when running Windows you have to restart from time to time...
