1. You don't do something to see if there new messages. Mozilla should 
indicate that there are new messages on its own. Are you seeing this, JTK?

2. Currently, you *have* to do something to download the message 
headers. But this is applicable only if you're in the same newsgroup 
folder. If you click to navigate to a different newsgroup, it will 
download on its own.

Not downloading mails automatically may be a bug but I feel that there 
might be some explanation for this behaviour.

So before I file a bug, does anyone know why newsgroup postings don't 
get downloaded automatically if you have set the option to check for new 
messages? Why do I have to press Ctrl-T to get the headers (if I am 
already in the same newsgroup)?
