hi kyle, or should i call you Netscape Basher, or Bundy? Man, you go by many names....
> You've got to know exactly what files in what directory and > transfer to them to the current directory under Mozilla same thing for IE, i once did a clean install of XP Pro, and for some reason only admin users could view flash objects. Now if you'll check you see that IE has a plug-in folder, but typically it's empty, so if you have a malfunctioning Flash player what do you do?! Hmm..i think i prefer the Mozilla way, at least it's transparent! In my case reinstalling Flash didn't solve anything (after all it was already installed..somewhere..for some) In the end i solved it by messing up the flas32.ocx in the windows\system folder, and only then the reinstall of flash worked. The problem is that Mozilla hasn't reached version 1 yet, and most plug-in installers only check for IE and Netscape (some do Opera as well). Soon they'll recognize Mozilla as well. One last example, Microsoft deliberately broke support for Netscape style plug-ins in IE 5.5sp2 and IE6. It took a while before all content types were able to work with IE as well. anyways, i'll leave you to your bashing 'cause that seems to be what you like doing most ;) Eric > 1 file under windows?
