Would I leave "where"? Am I a hypothetical Iraqui or an american in your
question?

If the US attacked Iraq, it would (hopefully) be for reasons that iraq
is threating thousands of innocents. If an iraqui citicen finds himself
stuck in that situation, I would suggest that the citize pick up a stick
and start fighting against his oppressive and criminal regime. There are
no innocents on this planet - we are all in this boat together and
cannot pretnd to live in a vacuum.
