Sorry, but no. According to the Bill of Rights in the 1987 Constitution: Section 5. No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference, shall forever be allowed. No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights. HEre's the URL: http://www.chanrobles.com/article3.htm While Christianity is the majority religion, you also have a significant Muslim and Buddist population, and they have the right to vote, and run for and hold office, and set national policy. So in point of fact, the Phillipines is not a democratic christian country, but a democratic country with a lot of christians in it. You can't mandate a religon AND be a democracy. -- }:-) Christopher Jahn {:-( Dionysian Reveler I... have become... comfortably numb To reply: xjahnATyahooDOTcom
