The first is considered bad form in America as well its called using a"double-negative". The second second can be a matter of pronounciation, actually the same thing is being said. The southeastern part of the US prononces words much diffrently for the reast of the US. where people from around the Massachusetts/Vermont area come as close to sound like British as we can get without living in England. This area is in the northeast. I live in the Mid-atlantic area which is in between.
