I would rather define workarounds simply as methods and / or techniques
to solve a problem in a different way than originally intended, with a
similar or exactly equal effect. Thus, this applies here.
As I pointed out in my other posts, I am well aware that your
suggestions were actually "good" (as in, with_out_ utilising proprietary
technologies) ways to accomplish the effect.
