Just to clarify here: my suggestions were *not* workarounds. Workarounds imply that you're working around a bug or weakness. Instead my suggestions were ways to acheive a proprietary effect using nothing but standardized technologies, which is not a weakness in any way. The CSS "zoom" property is what is actually a workaround. It is used to work around a browser's lack of standards support, and/or the developer's lack of creativity/expertise in using the standards to their full capability. I'm still waiting to hear if Roland tried my suggestions or not. --J
