Boris, I think we should not go this way, its slippery. I see the same
philosophy (altruism) as one could see from xthml 2 where the inline
style attribute was removed.
In other words: on monday we remove it, on wednesday we have a
bugreport this top 1...., add what ever number of zeros you want, page
does not work and two month's later a new implementation with only 175
lines, two reviews, one sr and only for quirks mode, because we are
sooo standards compliant, gets checked in.
I firmly believe it should stay where it is, thats what we got from
the elder engineers, its not too expensive. I see it as some sort of
tradition.
And as you know, better than I and a lot of people, there is much
bigger fish to fry.
