Hello,
First off, thanks for Mozilla/Firefox. I'm loving them.

I'm interested in "porting" the NGLayout to be able to use NGLayout. I've gone over countless documents on the mozilla.org site such as the http://www.mozilla.org/newlayout/ngport.html page. I've built firefox from source for gtk2. I've gone through the source a good deal, but still fail to understand a lot of it. Are there any more documents about what one would have to do to get this working. I'm particularily confused at the instructions in the ngport.html document which tells you to build, but not what. I'm not really sure about the idl interfaces, or where to find more information about what they are. I realize I'm at the beginning of a steep curve, but not sure where else to look for more information. I'm familiar with c++ code & classes, but from there I can't see how all these files/directories are pulled together. Its incredibly complex, I'm amazed really. In any case, are there pointers, docs or places I should look for more information on what needs to be implemented where. Or even the beginnings of creating a port. I'm not even sure if I should be compiling the whole browser from the start, how the build system knows what files to use from each widget/ gfx/ location etc...

        help!?
