Hi, this may sound a stupid question, but I didnt find the link to download the gecko engine...is it suppose to be built in my machine? I think we could just download the engine, and start creating the xml files and etc, to develop some application. is it right?
Can some one give the right link?

If you just want to create XUL files/programs you likely want "XULRunner" which is in its early stages of development, (I dont have the link handy), the gecko engine itself is the C++ side of Mozilla's layout.
This group is also for (as I understand it) gecko developers mostly, to descuss and announce work in Layout specifically.
Followup-To: n.p.m.Seamonkey as I think it will be the most appropriate venue, personally. (no XULRunner newsgroup)
