Hello, everyone!

Recently our team are working on a TV_SET_BOX project. Our job is
writing an embbed browser, so the users can visit the website via TV.
At first we developed and tested just in the LAN, so we didn't do the
layout until the whole page was loaded. And it works very well.

But when we test under the real condition, we find that we have to face
the speed problem of the broadband. The users have to wait a relatively
long time to see a page, espacially those pages which contains losts of
information.

So we think about the concept of incremental layout, or just using the
mozilla layout engine in our system. But the memory of the Box we can
use is very low. Maybe it's better to write a simpler one.

For us, it's just unbelievable that we can render the page or show the
parent block without knowing every child block's size.

We search via the Google, but found little information or document
about the incremental layout, including the www.mozilla.org/newlayout.
Can anyone give us some main ideas of the incremental layout and where
we can start? Or tell us how this is done in gekco?

Thanks a lot & Bow!
