thanks for your comments so far. But I think that asking if it's possible or not to sell a stand alone app based on mozilla isn't that exotic.
Yes, it's perfectly possible.
But I can't find anything in the FAQ here. Also I don't know any commercial app based on mozilla. So I'm afraid they aren't there coz something in the license prevents companies from publishing these apps.
Thanks to David, I guess it shouldn't be a problem to sell an xpi which consists 100% of my own code.
It's also not a problem to sell an XPI that isn't 100% of your own code. As long as you follow the requirements of the MPL.
