Can anyone suggest a way around this problem? Any ideas woudl be greatfully
recieved.

If I receive html email using Netscape 6 which has the BASE tag in the
header, then the full HREF is shown as the first line in the email.

Hence, if I use the 'Stationery' facility in Outlook (Express) to send a
html email, then a recipient using Netscape 6 will always see as the first
line:

href=file://C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\stationary\>

before the email displays.

I have not seen seen this in any of the many email programs I have tested
before. It does not occur in any version of Netscape Communicator that I
have seen.

I design html email which my clients distribute it using Outlook (Express).
This extra line that a recipient using Netscape 6 will see, destroys the
professional look of what I do.
