M18 and NS6 release 2000 limit messages in IMAP

Hi!

Will  2000 messages per imap folder limit will be lifted in future? I 
have not found option that control this limit and I now have more then 
2000 messages in some folders. The strange thing about it that it is 
showing 1999 most oldest messges rather then 1999 newest.

Guessing from accessing this newsgroup mozilla could handle 10000 
messages with minor delays.
