Thanks, I am aware of the View menu and its settings. I am trying to
clarify how and when those menu settings apply to individual mail/news
accounts and/or groups and the preferences and/or default behaviour thereof.
Let me rephrase...
1) Is it possible, as with NS 4.x, to have one newsgroup be set to "View
| All" and a different newsgroup set to "View | Threads with unread"? It
appears, at least in mozilla 7, that the menu setting "View | All" (or
"View | Unread" ) applies to all newsgroups.
2) If it IS possible to have the view option different for different
newsgroups, is there a way (preference, whatever, ....) to set the
default view option to be "View | Threads with unread" ?
