That's pretty cool.
But before I looked, I thought it was going to a service a web site
offered. Something like, you'd go and sign up at pop3hot.com, pay some
money, and give it your hotmail info, and then point your mail reader to
mail.pop3hot.com. But it looks like something you download that is
windows only.
A service would be cool, since it would be XP, nothing to install, and
the service would worry about keeping update with hotmail.com changes.
If they extended it to handle netscape.net or yahoo.com, you wouldn't
have to update the software.
That is assuming the mail services don't offer their own pop or imap access.
