Windows Integeration: using mailto:

I'm just wondering, why can't Mozilla respond to mailto: in other 
Windows programs.  For example, we can set Mozilla up as the default web 
browser, but why doesn't Mozilla respond to mailto: links from other 
programs?  In the Advanced setup, under Windows Integeration, there's no 
option for this.

Is this going to be implemented?  I tried to find bugs against this, but 
couldn't..
