i was able to repair this by deleting (aka renaming) Inbox.mfs in my
profile folder.
perhaps someone should create a "repair corrupted installation" type app
which renames/backsup/deletes files such as *.msf, localstore.rdf,
mozregistry.dat, mozver.dat, etc.
i think this would solve a lot of peoples crashes/problems.
