No, it doesn't - while they share a program, mail and news are
not actually related. Newsgroup messages have NOTHING to do
with Mail. Newsgroups use the NNTP server, outgoing Mail uses a
SMTP server.
Howard-
Check that the SMTP server belongs to the ISP you're dialed
into, and check that it is set up correctly. If you and your
wife use the same ISP, make sure the server information matches
in both profiles.
