Good to hear though that this is landing next week.
The folder outliner is what will speed up mail/news in will improve the
performance of the scrolling, expanding, and collapsing of the mail/news
folders in the top left (or left overall depending on your pane
configuration). Good to hear that it is coming in finally ..
