Hide mailing list in header

Hi,
  Is it possible to set up a mailing list in mozilla (0.9.2, RH7.1) such 
that the entire list is not visible to each recipient in the header? I 
tried sending the list as a BCC, but then no recipient shows in the To: 
line. I'd like only the name of the list to show in the To:
