I know.  The bug was filed ages ago, but I haven't been tracking 
it.

That message is one I've been pasting from the clipboard since 
N6 was first released.  Some 6.1 users still can't get access 
the secure server without changing the the port and manually 
enabling SSL.  At least, that's the complaint they make in the 
Feedback groups.

I had the problem with 6, and Mozilla prior to 0.9.1
I'm running both 6.1b and Moz 0.9.2, but I've been using an 
existing profile, too.  I suspect that if you do a clean install 
with no imported profiles, you have to make the adjustments.
