I understand that, but a spell checker is so vital that it should be
part of the basic system. With your thinking, why include the ability
for BOLD or ITALIC text -- or an address book for that matter -- aren't
they just "salad dressing" too?
I've use netscape for years -- since version 2.0. All the way up to
version 6.0 which was so terrible that I started using Billy's pos for
the first time because even it was better than 6.0. Then a friend told
me about Mozilla. Now I'm spoiled. I don't want all those bacon bits,
toast makers or morning paper grabbers. But I do need a spell checker
as my typing sucks. And judging from the number of people I've seen
asking questions about spell checker on these newsgroups, I don't think
I'm alone.
