Have you noticed that the things people list as
being "necessary or they won't use the program"
have gotten more and more trivial? I mean, I can
understand why people would want a spellchecker,
but all of these people keep saying "if Moz doesn't
have a spellchecker, I'll have to use a different
program". They're basically telling everyone that
their spelling is so awful that they *need*
computer assistance to be understood. And now
there's this "requirement" that Mozilla show the
same data in one place that it does in another
equally visible place, or somebody will be "forced"
to use another program.
I guess it's a good sign, that Mozilla is now so
stable and fully-featured that people can concentrate
on minor things, but it still strikes me as just plain
weird.
