Seth@Netscape may not be aware that on mozilla.org, there is currently a lengthy discussion about how Simple MAPI can be incorporated into NS6.X. I am thrilled about this. Many people on Windows platforms take it for granted today that they will be able to attach files from within their word processor, spreadsheet, etc. Some of the groundwork appears to be underway right now. There was some discussion about porting MAPI code from NS4.X to NS6.X, but it looks like the code will be written from the ground up, if I understand it correctly. Until very, very recently, MAPI seemed to be a non-issue. Kudos to the Mozilla developers!
