This is true. Many companies, such as Netscape, Red Hat, Beonex etc.
distribute things based on Mozilla. But they have the end users, not
Mozilla. For example, Ford make cars, but when your car breaks or you
need help, you go to a garage or the dealer who sold it to you - not to
Ford directly.

Jay, that's a mischaracterisation of Mozilla. The Mozilla team has
opened wide the door to the office and said "come in and give us a hand
with this". You get far more than just 'a look'.
Chracterising the Netscape 6 door as completely closed, given Netscape's
extremely close involvement with the open Mozilla project, is also quite
misleading.
Gerv
