I double-clicked the attachment, closed the new window, closed Mail & News, opened it again, and my icons changed to the classic theme! The file doesn't work if I save it as xml then load it. It has to be launched from a mail or news message. This is on win32 build 2001082909 with quicklaunch enabled.
