Hello,

I use Netscape 4.7x for email at work on a Win95 PC.
Previously I used the same at home on Linux.

I have recently tried Evolution.
Somethings nice, some so so.

It misses some features I had in Netscape.

I thought I would try Mozilla Mail.

It too is missing some features that are available in NS 4.7x.

When I had read all the mail I was going to read and was ready to mark
messages read in all my groups. I could select multiple mailboxes and
mark all messages read. It can be tedious to go to each mailbox
individually to mark all messages read in the mailboxes you want to
mark, especially with close to a 100 mailboxes. Being able to
shift-click contigious boxes or ctrl-click individual boxes would be nice.

In Mozilla it seems I can't select multiple mailboxes for any purpose.

I've selected multiple mailboxes either for marking read and also for
deleting (the mailboxes).

I miss this feature.

Also in NS you can change the order of the columns in the message pane.
It seems that this is not available either.

In NS on Windows I can add a header for filtering. This is nice for
filtering some mailing lists. In Evolution they have a filter option for
mailing lists.

Just, thought I would toss out these thoughts. It would be nice if they
were added.

If they are already there and I just don't know how to use them, my
apologies.

Other than those things which were obvious to my usage, Mozilla Mail is
looking nice.

Thanks,

Jimmie Houchin
