Because Netcape takes Mozilla and adds stuff to it. Thus what
works to solve a Mozilla problem may not solve a Netscape 6.xx
problem and vice versa.

It's a newsserver, the newsgroups for Netscape 6 are:
netscape.netscape6.windows
netscape.netscape6.unix
netscape.netscape6.macintosh

Forte doesn't support Multiple Servers or Secure Servers anyway.
I'm always surprised at the popularity of it; it's remarkably
primitive.
The support groups are not found in Usenet, they only exist on
Netscape's Secure Server. Accessing them is simple in any news
client but Forte Agent.
You're better off accessing the Secnews server in Netscape 6.
Open up Mail, and select "Edit - Mail Account Preferences"
Select "New Account"
Enter your name and email address
Enter "secnews.netscape.com" for NNTP server
Choose a nickname for the server, or click OK
Click Finish.
We're almost there, but not quite.
Find the Secnews server on the accounts list.
Select "Server Properties", and make sure that the Port is set
to "563" and that "use secure connections [SSL]" is checked.
Click OK.
Restart Netscape 6. You can now subscribe to groups on the
secure server.
To save some time, simply paste:
"snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape6.windows"
into your Netscape 6 Navigator window and hit enter.
