Thanks for your answers, I'll tell you why I use Forte. Netscape did
not have the option to enter a different "from" address for news vs.
mail, and I did not want to risk posting to usenet with my real e-mail
address, the only answer was to use a separate program for news. Forte
also handles binary attachments well, something that Netscape does
particularly badly, if at all. I never did find out how to decode a
file spread over several posts. Also, Forte doesn't mess with HTML, so
you never get taken to a porn site by mistake! This appears to be
fixed now in Netscape too, with the option to disable javascript in
mail and news. Now all they need to do is disable any kind of web
content, and everything will be hunky-dory all round.
Also, I think Netscape has also fixed the "multiple from addresses"
too, so I may use Netscape 6 from now on.

Okay, I'm nearly there, but I didn't restart Netscape. I have no
messages, I'll go try restarting it and let you know if that fixes it.
Thanks again - super hot fast response, you must have typed quick.
