Actually, when I entered
snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape6/windows
it did all that for me, I checked that (several times ;-) ) it was my
typo, together with an unhelpful error message (or no error message)
that screwed me. I should, of course have typed
snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.netscape6.windows
but it was easier to retype it on my other computer than try to send
it over the network (or so I thought!).
