I use Mozilla mail/news on my laptop both at work and at home. I have
an news account which is only available via my home ISP (dialup). When
I'm at work, I am prompted to login to this account each time I start
Mozilla, but I know it will be blocked from that network anyway. Is
there a way to do one of the following:
1) disable autoconnect to an account (only try to connect when I click a
newsgroup)
2) manually disable an account temporarily
3) any other ideas?
Note that I have "check for new mail on startup" set for my IMAP
account, but there does not seem to be a comparable setting for news
servers. I have "check for new messages every X minutes" disabled for
that news account.
