Hello all, after reading the posting 'New Mail Sound' earlier last week,
and after taking a look at the bug, i've implemented a basic version of
the UI (based on the screen-shot attachment included in the bug).
I've got a few questions on this and was wondering if anyone could help:
1. in the bug there are numerous versions of the UI that people think
should be implemented - which one should i implement - who has that
decision??
2. A posting (Peter Lairo 2001-01-16 08:31) takes the original
screenshot further and implements a few additional elements which would
not actually fit into the space available on the prefs dialog, who would
i talk to to get a new node onto the 'Mail and Newsgroups' leaf of the
prefs tree (in the dialog)?? would this be the way to go??
3. do i need to mark the bug in anyway to indicate that i'm working on
the UI/prefs integration?? or should i get a working copy and then post
an attachment??
